Ham & Leek sandwiches, hot dogs, chili, chili dogs, beverages. All proceeds go to the maintenance of the Kinzua Valley Rail Trail. We set up at the maintenance building near the trailhead in Westline.

Ken Stroup received a Volunteer of the Year award, a gift certificate and a plaque honoring his gracious contribution of cut timbers and his volunteer labor helping to build the Olivedale covered bridge over the Kinzua Creek. Read about it in the Bradford Era: CLICK HERE

The Kinzua Valley Trail Club co-hosted a Half Marathon Race Sunday, October 25th that started in Westline and traversed through the scenic Allegheny National Forest along the beautiful Kinzua Creek. We partnered with Wolf Creek Race Management Group. Monies received from registrations and donations to the Kinzua Valley Trail Club will go towards maintenance and improvements to the Kinzua Valley Trail.

The Kinzua Valley Trail Club Board of Directors voted to cancel our 2020 Moon Dance due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. This was not an easy decision, but for the safety of all our trail club members and guests, we felt this was the right decision. we plan on hosting our famed moon dance in 2021.

APRIL 18th 2020 - KINZUA VALLEY TRAIL CLUB’S 6th ANNUAL “TROUT OPENER” EVENT. WE WILL HAVE FOOD (HAM & LEEK SANDWICHES, TEXAS HOT DOGS, BOILED POTATOES, CHILI, DRINKS) AND LOTS OF RAFFLE PRIZES. STOP BY THE MAINTENANCE BUILDING (NEAR THE TRAIL HEAD) IN WESTLINE AND SUPPORT THE KVT CLUB.
Since 1979, The American Cancer Society (ACS) has held its annual Tony Dolan Memorial Ski for Cancer event at the trail in Westline. Originated by Tony Dolan, a Bradford pharmacist and former President of the local ACS chapter, the Ski for Cancer is the only event of its kind held in Pennsylvania! To date, it has raised more than $300,000 to support cancer research, education and prevention, as well as support local individuals in their cancer journey. anyone wishing to purchase a memorial sign can contact the American Cancer Society;

The Kinzua Valley Trail Club's annual moondance (and pig roast) was held at the Historic Westline Dance Hall, featuring the band SECOND ACT. Great time had by all.
A BIG Thank you to all of you that came to our 4th Annual Trout Opener Event and purchased food, T-Shirts and raffle tickets. What a beautiful day to be outside!
Although bicycles of all sizes are already allowed on the trail; plans have been discussed for a mountain bike event. All ages and abilities will be welcome and encouraged to participate. Date to be announced.
