HIKE, BIKE, SKI or RIDE THE KVT (equestrian use designated between Westline & Tally Ho Trailheads, and US Route 219 & Guffey only)
The Kinzua Valley Trail Westline Parking Area and Trailhead can be accessed from the north and south by U.S. Route 219 & from the east or west by PA Route 59 or U.S. Route 6.
There is a horse “Highline” that will accomodate 4-5 horses located beneath the trees at the Trailhead. ALSO; Picnic tables, BBQ grill and lots of parking.
Traveling from the north on U.S. Route 219, the turnoff for Westline Road is approximately 15 miles south of the City of Bradford. Turn right on to Westline Road, you will go past our Tally Ho Trailhead/Parking Lot on the right. watch for the Kinzua Valley Trail signs. You can access the KV Trail from this point or continue on to the Westline Trailhead. The trailhead is 3 miles down Westline Road, where it intersects with Church and Libby roads in the village. A sign just past The Westline Inn directs you to the trailhead parking area.
Traveling from the south on U.S. 219, or from the east or west on U.S. Route 6, take U.S. 219 north at Lantz Corners (the intersection of U.S. routes 219 and 6). Travel approximately 5 miles and turn left onto Westline Road. Our Tally Ho Trailhead/Parking Lot will be directly on your right. To access the Westline Trailhead, travel 3 miles down Westline Road and watch for the sign for the parking area and trailhead at the end of the road.
Traveling from the east or west on PA State Route 59, turn onto U.S. Route 219 south and continue a few miles, then take a right onto Westline Road and our Tally Ho TrailheadParking Lot will be directly on your right. You can access the KV Trail from this point, or continue for 3 miles to access the Westline Trailhead, watching for the Kinzua Valley Trail signs along the way. A sign just past The Westline Inn directs you to the trailhead and parking area off of the ccc road.
